IMS TECHNOLOGIES celebrates Made in Italy Day

ITS at IMS Made in Italy

The first Made in Italy National Day

April 15th, 2024, marked a special occasion: Italy celebrated the first Made in Italy National Day, an initiative promoted by the Italian Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy to enhance Italian companies, historical traditions, and the creative personalities that characterize our country. This celebration is a tribute to the past, present, and future of the Italian know-how, universally admired for its excellence and quality.

ACIMGA and the initiative “The Great Beauty of Made in Italy in the printing industry”

On this day, numerous associations and companies came together to promote the value of Made in Italy. Among these, ACIMGA (Italian Manufacturers Association of Machinery for the Graphic, Paper Converting, and Paper Industries) launched the initiative “The great beauty of Made in Italy within the printing industry“.
As an associated company, IMS TECHNOLOGIES also gladly participated in the project, whose aim is to promote Italian creativity and excellence, particularly highlighting the value of Italian ingenuity and products in the printing, converting, and packaging sectors. ACIMGA’s and the participating companies’ commitment is primarily aimed at engaging young students from technical and professional institutes, including those in the ITS (Higher Technical Education and Training) sector, to encourage them to explore and study this sector, which is of great importance in the Italian landscape.

IMS TECHNOLOGIES: a bridge between education and Italian excellence

IMS TECHNOLOGIES recognizes the value of Made in Italy excellence as a heritage of knowledge and skills to be shared with the new generations. For this reason, on April 16th, we opened the doors of our headquarters in Calcinate to two first-year classes of the ITS Lombardia Meccatronica to share our passion and know-how and to present them with the opportunities offered by the Italian industry.

The theme of the event, structured into a theoretical and practical part in the workshop, focused on electric drives and their use in the company. After an initial welcome, the students first visited the production department, where they could observe concretely and closely the topics studied in class, and then had the opportunity to attend a lesson in the company, where a human-machine interface was presented and used to delve deeper into the subjects under study. In addition to the educational part, an orientation session was also included: the event allowed students to discover the professions that contribute to creating value within our company every day.

We are proud to have participated in the celebrations of this first Made in Italy Day and hope that, through our story, we have increased the curiosity of young generations towards Italian excellence. With the hope of being able to continue to participate in similar future initiatives, we extend our heartfelt thanks to ACIMGA and the Italian Ministry for Enterprises and Made in Italy for this opportunity!
