Tobacco The IMS TA1 is an automatic slitter rewinder with single-shaft centre winding concept and a lay on roller. The lay-on roller is idle in the basic version, while the larger IMS TA1-MS is equipped with a driven lay-on roller for better controlling the web tension up to higher speed and wider total web.
The IMS TA1 has a turret rewinder and several automatic features to realize an extremely short cycle time and to improve the productivity. An integrated automatic reel unloading system is also a popular feature.
The basic version can reach 1000 m/min with a max web width of 1250 mm, while the larger IMS TA1-MS version can reach 1200 m/min with a max web width of 1800 mm
The machine can also be equipped with different options:
- Control of the edge.
- Inline packing system (manual or automatic) for finished bobbins.
- Labelling and palletizing system.
- Transversal cutting sistem.
- Glueing system for closing the finished bobbins.
- Glueing system for the new cores for automatic restart.
- Unloading and evacuation of finished bobbins.
