IMS Technologies, together with its brands ROTOMAC, LAEM IMS, and GOEBEL IMS, will be exhibiting at IPACK-IMA 2025, the international trade show for processing and packaging, taking place from May 27 to 30, 2025 in Milan, Italy.
On this occasion, we are proud to present for the first time in Italy the ROTOMAC CORELESS ICEBREAKER 167, the only automatic rewinding machine capable of producing coreless aluminium rolls.
This breakthrough technology represents a major step forward in sustainable packaging: it replaces the traditional cardboard core with a thin paper layer, significantly reducing material usage and CO₂ emissions. The result is greater efficiency in logistics and storage, proving that sometimes less really is more.
The CORELESS ICEBREAKER will be showcased in line with the Cartoning Machine 505, with live demonstrations running throughout the event.
Visitors will also be able to explore the full ROTOMAC range of rewinders and ancillary machines for converting aluminium foil, plastic film, and baking paper from mother rolls into consumer-sized rolls for both domestic and professional use.
A dedicated area will feature the LAEM IMS portfolio, including the eSLIT, RIBOSLIT, RB2, and RB4 slitter rewinders developed for the flexible packaging industry.
Finally, our team will be on hand to present our after-sales services and digital solutions, including MAIA — our Industrial IoT platform designed to support businesses in the Industry 4.0 era.
