Fuqing, China – Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Fuqing City, Fujian Province, Forop Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. is a well-established manufacturer of BOPP films worldwide. The company operates five production bases located in Fuqing (Fujian Province), Nantong (Jiangsu Province), Zhaoqing (Guangdong Province), Weifang (Shandong Province) and Chengdu (Sichuan Province).
Forop is engaged in the research, development, production and sales of BOPP films, serving a wide range of applications including food-grade packaging, daily consumer goods packaging, pharmaceutical packaging and new energy materials.
Within its ongoing strategy to enhance production capacity and ensure consistent product quality, Forop has selected IMS Technologies as its strategic and technology partner for slitting operations. The cooperation includes the installation of three Monoslit 9000 high-speed slitter rewinders, following positive operational experience with 14 previously installed machines.
The Monoslit 9000 is designed for wide-web BOPP film applications, featuring a maximum working width of 9,000 mm and production speeds of up to 1,500 m/min. The machine configuration supports stable operation, high productivity and consistent finished roll quality, while offering flexibility for different types of BOPP films.
Technical features include the ultra-light and dynamic dancer roll, which allows efficient adjustment of production parameters, and individually driven guide rolls for accurate web speed control. In addition, the large wrapping angle of the S-roller group enables effective separation of unwind and rewind tension, contributing to stable web handling and reliable production performance.
At present, 17 slitters are in operation out of a total of 18 slitters. The 18th Monoslit 9000, ordered in May 2025 based on trust in the performance of the existing machines, is scheduled for delivery by the end of April 2026. Upon completion of the installation, the planned slitting capacity will be fully achieved.
